Pump It Up! L's 4th Birthday

This was by far Lyndon's best birthday in his 4 years.  I can't begin to express how much fun it was to watch his thrilling day unfold.  "Pure joy" is the only way to describe his feelings.  He helped me bake the cupcakes and then didn't want to take them to school.  He enjoyed eating them too much (definitely my child!).  We did take them and he was SO proud when we showed up, on his big day, cupcakes in tow.  He couldn't stop smiling as all the kids at school started getting up from their chairs saying "Happy Birthday Lyndon!" from all directions.  Then one of his teachers sang to him.  It was awesome.  I think I enjoyed it as much as him!

We had his party at Pump It Up this year.  15 boys and girls.  Inflatables. Pizza.  Cookie Cake.  Need I say anything else?  Add it up and it is one fantastic 4 year old birthday party.  He had a ball.  We all did.  Sorry for all of the pictures, but I couldn't narrow it any further.

This may be an innapropriate question... but I always have the boys take off their glasses for the bounce house things - does the same hold true for hearing aids? Or do those pretty much stay put?

Looks like he had a great time! Come play some time - we're determined to make the kids BFF!! :)

I only take off the hearing aids when there is water involved (i.e. raining, etc). They stay in really well, but sometimes they will fall out if he's wrestling a little rough with his dad. They're pretty durable, I think he can even wear them playing contact sports, as long as they have a sweat guard on them.

The boys definitely need to be BFFs. We'll do it soon!
